The HBMH series of measuring holes are precision-engineered accessories designed for both underground and above-ground fuel tanks. Crafted from high-quality cast aluminum, these measuring holes provide a reliable solution for monitoring oil levels and obtaining fuel samples. Typically mounted near the ladder platform on top of the tank, each unit features a secure, lockable cover and bolts. The sealing groove of the cover is embedded with oil-resistant rubber or soft metals such as copper or aluminum, preventing sparks when the cover contacts iron during operation.

The HBMH series is available in two operation types: rotary and pedal. The rotary version allows the operator to twist the cap for opening and closing, offering smooth and controlled access to the tank interior. The pedal type provides hands-free operation for larger diameter tanks up to 8 inches, making it especially suitable for high-volume storage facilities. Both types are engineered to withstand temperatures from -20°C to +50°C and can be customized with flanges to meet specific client requirements.

This series is widely recognized across international markets. In the United States, it is often referred to as a “Tank Top Level Gauge with Lockable Cap,” while in Europe it is known as an “Aluminum Oil Tank Measuring Port.” In the Middle East and Asia, operators may call it a “Fuel Tank Sampling and Level Monitoring Hole” or “Pedal-Operated Measuring Hole for Petrol Tanks,” reflecting the global versatility of this product.

Ordering options are flexible, with multiple diameter sizes and bolt spacing. For example, the rotary versions include HBMH-80-150-R and HBMH-100-180-R, while the pedal-operated versions include HBMH-150-240-P and the special 8-inch HBMH-200-280-P, which is exclusively manufactured for certain high-capacity applications. This wide range ensures compatibility with diverse tank designs and installation environments.

HBMH Series of Measuring Holes are made of cast aluminum. It is a dedicated accessory used to measure the oil level inside the tank, as well as to draw oil samples. Installed on the top of the oil tank, it serves the purpose of measuring the oil level, testing, and sampling. Each oil tank typically has one located near the tank ladder platform. It is equipped with a seal-able hole cover and lockable bolts. To prevent sparks during closure when the hole cover contacts iron, the sealing groove of the hole cover is embedded with an oil-resistant rubber gasket or soft metal (copper or aluminum).
