In underground fuel delivery systems at service stations, PE composite pipes are only one part of the overall pipeline network. The true safety and reliability of the system depend on how these composite pipes are connected to various devices. The HBCBC Series brass threaded conversion couplings and the HBRFS Series rubber flange sleeves are specifically designed to solve this critical connection requirement and are widely used to connect underground PE composite fuel pipes to submersible pumps, emergency shut-off valves (ESOVs), and other related equipment.

The HBCBC Series brass conversion couplings are mainly used to create a secure transition between PE composite pipes and metal equipment with threaded connections. One end is precisely matched to the composite pipe dimensions, while the other end is designed with BSPT or NPT male threads, allowing direct connection to equipment with female threaded ports. In Vietnam, they are commonly referred to as “Đầu nối chuyển ren bằng đồng.” In Thailand, they are called “ข้อต่อแปลงเกลียวทองเหลือง.” In Indonesia, the common name is “Kopling Konversi Kuningan,” while in Malaysia they are known as “Penyambung Penukar Benang Loyang.” In European and North American markets, they are often described as “Brass Threaded Transition Couplings” or “PE Pipe Brass Adapters.” Although the names differ, the core function remains the same: to provide a safe and reliable threaded connection between PE composite pipes and metal fuel-handling equipment.

Used together with the conversion couplings, the HBRFS Series rubber flange sleeves play a vital role in sealing and buffering within the connection system. These rubber sleeves are installed between PE composite pipes and flange-type fittings. By utilizing the elastic properties of rubber, they effectively compensate for installation tolerances, absorb minor vibrations, and prevent fuel leakage at connection points. In underground fuel systems, this flexible sealing structure significantly reduces long-term operational risks and contributes to environmental protection.
