High Flow Rate Modular Mobile Fuel Dispensing Unit — Flexible Pump & Metering Assembly
The YB series rotary sliding vane pumps, including the YB-50-B with V-belt motor drive and YB-50-C with shaft coupling motor drive, are at the heart of our modular mobile fuel dispensing units. Designed for safe, reliable, and efficient fuel transfer, these pumps are ideal for handling gasoline, diesel, kerosene, biofuels, and other refined liquids. Their sliding vane design allows self-priming, extended dry-run operation, and consistent flow rates, ensuring trouble-free performance even under demanding conditions.
These pumps can be combined with different motor drives to meet specific operational needs. The V-belt motor drive features a closed European-standard pulley system, guaranteeing secure installation and safe operation. The shaft coupling motor drive can incorporate a gearbox to modify pump speed, enabling flexible flow rates, vertical suction lift, and horizontal delivery performance. While the standard pump body is made of cast iron, the YB-65 model (2.5” nominal diameter) is also available in stainless steel 304 or 316 for applications requiring corrosion-resistant materials.
Our MFD-XX series mobile fuel units integrate these pumps with additional components to form a complete, ready-to-use mobile fuel handling solution. A typical unit includes a YB pump (50mm or 80mm) with the selected motor drive, an M-50C or M-50C PD flow meter with mechanical register, a customizable trailer chassis, a pump control cabinet, and optional hose reels. This modular design allows customers to configure the unit according to flow rate, vertical suction, horizontal discharge, and operating medium, ensuring optimal performance for each specific application.
Before ordering, customers should provide details including the type of fuel or liquid, desired flow rate, vertical suction lift, horizontal delivery distance, and operating temperature. This information ensures the unit is configured for maximum efficiency, safety, and durability.
Across different countries, this system is known by various names reflecting local usage: in Egypt, it is called a mobile fuel dispensing skid; in Nigeria, a portable fuel transfer pump unit; in Spain, unidad móvil de suministro de combustible; in Portugal, unidade móvel de combustível; in the USA, mobile fuel metering station; and in Russia, мобильная топливная заправочная установка. Regardless of terminology, the core benefits remain: modular integration, flexible pump-motor combinations, precise metering, and safe mobile fuel handling.
This system is particularly suitable for fuel stations, fleet refueling, remote construction sites, aviation refueling points, and industrial fuel storage operations. Its modular construction allows for easy maintenance, relocation, and system upgrades, while the combination of cast iron and optional stainless steel pumps provides both durability and corrosion resistance where needed.
By integrating sliding vane pumps, variable motor drives, precision flow meters, and customizable mobile trailers, the YB-MFD system delivers a fully modular, efficient, and reliable mobile fuel dispensing solution for modern fueling and industrial applications.
