The HBEGD Series Ethanol Gasoline Dryer Box is an essential accessory for ethanol-blended fuel storage systems. Designed to be installed along the above-ground vent pipe connected to underground storage tanks, it effectively absorbs moisture-laden vapors entering through the vent valve, preventing water from contaminating the ethanol gasoline. By maintaining a dry, clean environment, the dryer box ensures fuel quality, prolongs equipment life, and improves operational safety in gas stations, fuel depots, and industrial storage facilities.

Constructed from high-quality aluminum, the HBEGD series offers a lightweight, compact design that is easy to install and maintain. The box comes with a clear sight-glass for visual monitoring of internal conditions, and a tight seal made of Teflon or Buna-N gaskets ensures reliable performance under operating temperatures ranging from -20°C to +70°C. The standard working pressure is 0.3 Mpa, and the product is available in 50 mm (2-inch) diameter size. Stainless steel 304 or carbon steel options are also available for environments requiring higher corrosion resistance or durability.

This ethanol gasoline dryer can be paired with HBCCD color-changing silica gel desiccants, which act as a visual “humidity indicator.” As the desiccant absorbs moisture, its color changes from blue to red, providing a clear signal that the desiccant requires regeneration. With a strong moisture-absorbing capacity, these silica gel indicators are non-toxic, odorless, and non-flammable. They can be regenerated at 100–200°C and have a shelf life of three years under proper storage conditions.

The HBEGD Series has gained recognition worldwide under various names. In the United States, it is often referred to as the “Ethanol Fuel Vent Dryer with Sight Glass.” In Europe, it is called the “Aluminum Gasoline Desiccant Box for Fuel Tanks.” In Asia and the Middle East, operators know it as the “Moisture Control Dryer for Ethanol Blended Gasoline” or simply “Fuel Tank Drying Box.” These diverse terminologies reflect its broad applicability across different regions and industries.

Available models include the HBEGD-50 with round flange, HBEGD-50T with male NPT or BSPT thread, and HBEGD-S-50 stainless steel version, offering flexibility to match different fuel system setups. HBCCD Color-changing Silica-gel Desiccant

HBCCD Color-changing Silica-gel Desiccant will change color obviously as it absorbs more moisture, making it a useful "humidity indicator." It can be regenerated at temperatures between 100 and 200 degrees Celsius. The main ingredient is silicon dioxide, which is stable, non-toxic, odorless, and non-flammable. Due to its strong moisture-absorbing ability, it should be stored in a sealed place, and during transportation, it should be protected from rain and excessive moisture.
