In industrial fluid handling, precision and reliability are critical. The M-XXC Series Positive Displacement Flow Meters are engineered to provide highly accurate measurement for a wide range of liquids in both transfer and process control applications. With robust design and easy maintenance, these meters are trusted across refineries, fuel depots, chemical plants, and automotive service facilities.

The M-XXC meter operates using synchronized bladed displacement rotors and a central blocking rotor within three cylindrical bores. This unique mechanism ensures smooth operation with no metal-to-metal contact, minimizing wear and extending service life. Each rotor is mounted on bearing plates, ensuring stability and accuracy during high-speed flow conditions. The central blocking rotor acts as a continuous seal between upstream and downstream product, guaranteeing precise volumetric measurement. Timing gears coordinate the rotor speeds for consistent performance across different flow rates.

Available in four main models – M-40C, M-50C, M-80C, and M-100C – the flow meters cover ranges from 25 L/min to 1700 L/min with volumetric resolutions from 0.309 L/rev to 5.102 L/rev and an accuracy of ±0.2%. Standard units of measurement include liters, U.S. gallons, and Imperial gallons, and maximum operating pressures reach up to 10 bar (150 psi). Customers are encouraged to provide the type of liquid, working pressure, and temperature at the time of order so that the flow meter can be properly equipped for optimal performance.

The M-XXC meters are supplied with essential accessories including a meter body, fuel strainer, air eliminator, and mechanical register, making them ready for immediate installation. These meters are ideal for Class 1 applications, measuring refined petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, kerosene, motor oils, ethylene glycol, and printing inks.

The M-XX series meter is a positive displacement meter for liquids. They are designed for liquid metering, both in transfer and process control applications. Thanks to their design, they are easy to keep and can suit a wide range of applications. The meter consists of a housing where two bladed displacement rotors and a central single blocking rotor turn in a synchronized relationship within three cylindrical bores with no metal-to-metal contact within the meter element. Each rotor is supported on either end by a bearing plate through which the rotor shafts protrude.

The bladed displacement rotors alternately move through the two half-cylinder bores of the meter element, while the single blocking rotor rotates within its bore in such a way as to produce a continuous capillary seal between the unmetered upstream product and the metered, downstream product. At one end of each rotor shaft is a timing gear. The blocking rotor gear, having twice the number of teeth of each of the displacement rotor gears, rotates at half the RPM of the displacement rotors.
