Manufactured with SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) composite material, the cover combines high mechanical strength with reduced weight. In many countries, this type of product is also commonly referred to as a composite manhole cover, FRP manhole cover, SMC access cover, fuel station inspection cover, or anti-static service hatch, depending on regional and industry usage.
Despite its lighter weight compared with traditional cast iron covers, the 900 mm series fully meets D400 load class requirements, making it suitable for vehicle traffic areas, fuel station driveways, and heavy-use service lanes. The optimized internal structure ensures stable load distribution and resistance to deformation under repeated vehicle loads.
