French-Designed Dual-Thread Angle & Anti-Siphon Check Valve for Fuel Dispenser

Fuel handling reliability is crucial for storage tanks and industrial fueling stations. The HBHHF-40 Series Angle Check Valves (French Type) are expertly engineered to prevent backflow and safeguard fuel systems in high-vibration environments. Originating from French designs, these valves have historically been widely used in fueling stations across former French colonies, proving their reliability in diverse global markets.

Global Recognition and Alternative Names
Depending on region and industry terminology, these valves may be referred to as:
United States: “angle check valve” or “suction line check valve.”
Europe / UK: “elbow non-return valve” or “fuel line one-way valve.”
French-speaking regions / former colonies: “vanne anti-retour angle type français.”
Functional / Safety Term: “anti-siphon valve”, emphasizing its role in preventing unintended siphoning from storage tanks
The HBHHF-40 not only prevents backflow during normal operation but also serves as an anti-siphon solution for fuel storage systems.

Key Features and Advantages
Dual-Threaded Inlet: Combines 2” male thread with 1.5” female thread for versatile connection to various tank bungs and pipeline systems.
Spring-Loaded Poppet: Ensures secure closure even in high-vibration or intermittent operation environments.
Buna-N or Optional Viton Disc Seals: Durable and chemically resistant for long service life.
Pressure Rating: Designed for suction lines with pressures up to 34 ft of head (~15 psi).
Maintenance-Friendly Design: Single-poppet structure allows easy inspection, cleaning, or disc replacement.
Corrosion Resistance: Cast iron body and cap with black electrophoresis coating for enhanced durability and visual identification.

Applications and User Experiences Worldwide
Africa & Asia (former French colonies): Widely used in retail fuel stations for reliable anti-backflow performance.
Europe & North America: Trusted in industrial and commercial fuel suction systems under vibration-heavy conditions.
Japan: Engineers appreciate the dual-threaded inlet for easy adaptability to mixed NPT and BSP piping systems.
Global Operators: Seek “anti-siphon valves” to prevent accidental fuel siphoning and comply with safety regulations.

Why Choose HBHHF-40 French-Type Valves
Each valve is 100% factory-tested, ensuring consistent performance. The combination of French-origin engineering, dual-threaded inlet design, spring-loaded poppet, and anti-siphon capability makes the HBHHF-40 Series a dependable choice for fueling stations, industrial storage tanks, and commercial fleet operations worldwide.

The HBHHF-40 Series Angle Check Valves are specifically engineered for installation on suction systems and fuel lines located at the top of fuel storage tanks. Each model features a 2-inch male thread inlet (integrated with a 1.5-inch female thread) for direct connection to tank bung fittings.
These valves utilize a spring-loaded poppet design and are equipped with Buna-N sealing discs, ensuring secure closure even in high-vibration environments. The single-poppet structure makes them ideal for systems where periodic maintenance, disc inspection, or replacement is required.
Recommended for use on suction lines where system pressure does not exceed 34 feet of head (approx. 15 psi). Each valve undergoes 100% factory testing to guarantee quality and performance.
