Drive-off incidents remain one of the most common and costly safety risks in fuel station operations worldwide. The HBLDF-8XX Series Reconnectable Swivel Breakaway Couplings are specifically designed to minimize damage and prevent fuel leakage when a vehicle accidentally drives away with the nozzle still engaged.

Installed at the inlet of the fuel nozzle, this breakaway coupling separates automatically when excessive pulling force occurs and instantly shuts off fuel flow on the hose side. This design effectively protects the fuel dispenser, hose assembly, and vehicle, while significantly reducing operational downtime and repair costs.

Dual Swivel Design for Safer Operation
The HBLDF-8XX Series features a compact, lightweight construction with 360-degree swivel rotation at both the male end and the center joint. This dual-swivel design improves handling flexibility, reduces hose twisting, and enhances operator comfort during refueling.
When the pulling force exceeds the preset threshold, the coupling separates instantly. After the incident is resolved, the unit can be easily reconnected with minimal force, eliminating the need for replacement and reducing maintenance costs.

Compliance with International Safety Standards
This series is designed in accordance with EN 13617-2, making it suitable for international fuel station applications. It is fully compatible with ZVA Slimline 2, ZVA Slimline (older version), and other equivalent fuel nozzles.
Breakaway force: Automatically separates at approximately 350 lbs or higher
Reconnection force: Approximately 15 lbs
Working pressure range: 0.1–0.35 MPa

Reusable, self-closing Safety Swivel Break to EN 13617-2. Designed to protect the dispenser, hose assembly, and car against damage caused by drive-off incidents. Stops the flow of fuel on the hose end at separation. The 'Nozzle Break' is directly fitted into the nozzle. Suitable for ZVA Slimline 2, ZVA Slimline (old), and other nozzles

HBLDF-8 Series of swivel breakaways are intended for easy installation at the nozzle inlet. The compact, light weight design incorporate a 360 degree swivel rotation at both the male end and middle joint, with simple and easily re-connectable breakaway on the opposite end. The swivel breakaway will breakaway under a pull force of more than 350 lbs.  Reconnection force is approximately 15 lbs.
