Because of this, the meter delivers stable and repeatable results even when flow conditions change. In international markets, this technology is commonly referred to as a Positive Displacement Flow Meter, while many users also know it as a Fuel Meter, Diesel Transfer Meter, or Oil Flow Meter, depending on regional usage.

What clearly differentiates the M-XXESV Series is the integration of a stainless steel double-flow solenoid valve. This valve allows the system to automatically control liquid flow during filling or transfer operations. In fuel depots, tank truck loading stations, and automated fuel terminals, such configurations are often described as Automatic Fuel Metering Units or Fuel Loading Control Meters.

The internal measuring mechanism is designed for durability and consistency. Multiple synchronized rotors create continuous sealing between incoming and outgoing liquid, ensuring that each measured cycle represents true volume. This structure makes the meter suitable for a wide range of refined petroleum products, even when viscosity varies. In industrial environments, similar systems are often called Liquid Transfer Meters or Industrial Oil Meters.

By combining an electronic register, an electric control system, and a stainless steel solenoid valve, the M-XXESV Series enables automated start-stop control, clear digital reading, and improved operational safety. Compared with traditional mechanical meters or manually operated systems, this electronic and valve-controlled design significantly reduces human error and improves process efficiency.

M-XX series meter is positive displacement meter for liquids. They are designed for liquid metering both in transfer and process control applications. Thanks to their design they are easy to keep and can suit a wide range of applications. The meter consists of a housing where two bladed displacement rotors and a central single blocking rotor turn in synchronized relationship within three cylindrical bores with no metal-to-metal contact within the meter element. Each rotor is supported on either end by a bearing plate through which the rotor shafts protrude.

The bladed displacement rotors, alternately move through the two half-cylinder bores of the meter element, while the single blocking rotor rotates within its bore in such a way as to produce a continuous capillary seal between the unmetered upstream product and the metered, downstream product. At one end of each rotor shaft is a timing gear. The blocking rotor gear, having twice the number of teeth of each of the displacement rotor gears, rotates at half the RPM of the displacement rotors.
