Innovative Design for Maximum Safety

The HBBR series features a dual poppet spring-controlled design that automatically shuts off fuel flow when the coupling separates, ensuring minimal spillage. Once activated, the breakaway is designed to be replaced rather than reassembled, preventing potential reassembly errors.

HBBR-3/4: Breakaway force approx. 250 lbs ±5%, for 3/4” hoses, requires a “straightening” hose with a minimum length of 9 inches

HBBR-1: Breakaway force approx. 300 lbs ±5%, for 1” hoses, requires a minimum hose length of 12 inches

HBBR Series of Breakaways are designed to be installed on fuel dispensing hoses, and will separate when subjected to a designed full force. The dual valves seat automatically, stopping the flow of fuel and limiting any fuel spillage, while protecting the dispensing equipment. For proper operation, the HBBR-3/4 Breakaway should be installed with a “straightening” hose with a minimum length of 9, and the HBBR-1 Breakaway should be installed with a minimum length of 12.
