The HBVRLDF-M34 Series Vapor Recovery Reusable Breakaways are engineered to minimize these risks by providing immediate, automatic shut-off when abnormal pulling force occurs during fueling.

Designed for Nozzle-Side Vapor Recovery Protection
The HBVRLDF-M34 Series is designed to be installed directly behind the vapor recovery nozzle, positioned between the nozzle and the coaxial hose assembly. This configuration provides the fastest response during a drive-off incident, ensuring that fuel flow on the hose side is stopped instantly upon separation.
It is fully compatible with ZVA Slimline 2 GR / GRV / GRVP nozzles, as well as other Stage II (Stage 2) vapor recovery nozzles used in vacuum-assist systems worldwide.

EN 13617-2 Compliant Self-Sealing Technology
Manufactured in accordance with EN 13617-2, the HBVRLDF-M34 is a self-sealing breakaway coupling designed for modern vapor recovery systems. When separation occurs, the internal sealing mechanism closes automatically, preventing fuel leakage and reducing vapor release.
Each unit undergoes 100% factory testing and is supplied with inspection marking, ensuring consistent quality and compliance with international safety expectations.

Controlled Separation for Real-World Use
To avoid nuisance disconnections while still providing effective protection, the HBVRLDF-M34 Series is calibrated to separate only when axial pulling force reaches a controlled range of 800 N to 1500 N. This balance allows normal fueling operation while safeguarding against genuine drive-off events.
The breakaway valve maintains stable performance under common station conditions, supporting:

Durable Construction with Reusable Design
Unlike single-use safety couplings, the HBVRLDF-M34 Series is reusable, allowing trained technicians to reconnect and return the unit to service after inspection. The valve body is made from high-strength aluminum, while sealing components use Buna-N and Viton®, offering reliable chemical resistance and long service life.
This reusable concept is particularly valued in markets where breakaways are also known as serviceable safety disconnects or maintenance-friendly breakaway valves.

Equipped with M34 × 1.5 male-to-female coaxial threads, the HBVRLDF-M34 integrates easily into fuel dispensers used across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and other regulated regions. An optional version with a vapor proportional regulating valve is available to support different system designs.

The HBVRLDF-M34 Series of Vapor Recovery Reusable Breakaways is designed to protect the dispenser, hose assembly, and car against damage caused by drive-off incidents. Stops the flow of fuel on the hose end at separation. It is directly fitted into the nozzle. Suitable for ZVA Slimline 2 GR/GRV/GRVP or other Stage II Vapour Recovery nozzles.

It is a type of Self-sealing breakaway coupling, produced according to the standard EN 13617-2. It is used between the vapor recovery nozzle and the COAX hose. Separate force from 800 N(80kg) up to 1500N(150kg), with body material of aluminum and seal material of Buna-N and Viton. The quality is 100% factory tested with inspection markings.

Precautions for Use:
Do not pull the hose or nozzle with force, or let it snap back, to avoid damage or breakaway.
Always use a matching swivel to prevent too much twisting force on the breakaway.
Guide vehicles properly into the fueling area. Do not stretch the hose too far during fueling.
The standard hose length is 4.5 meters. Do not extend it illegally — extra weight may cause the breakaway to disconnect.
If the breakaway separates, stop fueling immediately and check for missing parts like O-rings.
Only trained staff should reconnect and reinstall the breakaway valve.
