The HBFLQ-3/4 Series Fuel Vapor Separator is a critical component specially designed for top-mounted fuel dispensers. Also referred to in some regions as an Inverted Coaxial Adaptor or Vapor-Liquid Separator, it effectively separates fuel and vapor, ensuring safe fuel delivery. When used together with a vapor recovery hose short assembly, it allows smooth operation of the breakaway device and prevents fuel leakage, enhancing the overall reliability of the fueling system.

This series is available in two versions: with a proportional regulating valve and without a regulating valve, catering to different station requirements. The body is made of aluminum, providing lightweight durability and corrosion resistance. Seals are made of chemical-resistant materials to ensure long-term stability and sealing performance. The inlet threads and vapor pipe connectors are made of brass for durability, compatible with a wide range of Stage II vapor recovery hose assemblies. The vapor pipe connector is designed for 12 mm outer diameter red copper vapor tubing.

The HBFLQ-3/4 Series is suitable for all types of gasoline, including ethanol-blended fuels. It has a maximum working pressure of 3.5 bar, a temperature range from -20°C to +55°C, and supports flow rates up to 45 liters per minute. Every unit is factory-tested and inspected to ensure high-quality standards.

Internationally, this product is known by various names. In Europe, it is commonly called a Vapor Separator, while in North America it is referred to as a Vapor-Liquid Separator. In parts of Asia and Latin America, professionals often use the terms Inverted Coaxial Adaptor or Top-Mounted Fuel Separator. Regardless of the terminology, the HBFLQ-3/4 Series meets the safety and environmental requirements of fueling stations worldwide.

The HBFLQ-3/4 Series of Vapor Separators is designed to be used on fuel dispensers with a fuel outlet on the top side. This kind of vapor separator must be used together with a vapor recovery hose short assembly as a flexible extension, so as to ensure that the breakaway at the other side of the hose short assembly can be pulled apart with the valve disc closed smoothly, and the fuel liquid in the hose components at both ends will not leak out. Suitable for various kinds of Stage II Vapour Recovery hose assemblies with vapor recovery breakaway.

They are with body material of aluminum and seal material of Buna-N and Viton seal material, with a male thread inlet side and a vapor pipe connector made of brass material. The quality is 100% factory tested with inspection markings. They are divided into Vapor Separator with or without Vapor & Liquid proportional regulating valve. The female thread for connecting the vapor tube connector is 1/4 in BSP standard. The brass vapor tube connector is used for a 12 mm outer diameter of vapor tube. The vapor tube is usually in material red copper with an outer diameter of 12 mm.
