The HBOEV-100 Series One-Way Exhaust Breather Valves are engineered to provide fast, reliable pressure relief when internal tank pressure rises beyond safe limits, helping to protect tank structures and reduce vapor-related hazards.

Around the world, this type of product is known by different names depending on local standards and industry habits. In English-speaking markets, it is often referred to as a One-Way Exhaust Vent Valve, Emergency Pressure Relief Valve, or Tank Exhaust Breather Valve. In Europe, it may be called a Unidirectional Tank Pressure Release Valve, while in the Middle East and parts of Asia, it is commonly described as a Fuel Tank Overpressure Safety Valve. Despite the variations in terminology, the core function remains the same: rapid pressure discharge without allowing reverse airflow.

The HBOEV-100 series is specifically designed for above-ground oil storage tanks used in portable gas stations and fuel depots. Unlike pressure-vacuum breather valves, this series operates exclusively under positive pressure conditions. The valve remains fully closed during normal operation and opens only when tank pressure increases rapidly and exceeds a preset threshold, typically 4 kPa for the standard version, with 3 kPa available as an optional setting.

Constructed with a cast aluminum alloy body and a cast iron cap with electrophoretic coating, the valve offers excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance in outdoor environments. This robust material combination ensures long-term stability under repeated pressure release cycles while maintaining consistent performance across a working temperature range of -20°C to +50°C.

Once activated, the valve allows excess fuel vapor to be discharged instantly, preventing structural deformation of the tank and minimizing the risk of damage caused by sudden overpressure. Since the valve is strictly one-way, it does not permit air intake or vacuum compensation, making it ideal for applications where controlled exhaust-only protection is required.

To accommodate various tank designs and installation requirements, the HBOEV-100 series is available with multiple connection options. These include 4-inch NPT or BSP threaded connections, as well as flange-mounted configurations ranging from 4 inches up to 8 inches. Custom flange standards can also be manufactured according to client specifications, ensuring compatibility with both new installations and retrofit projects.

HBOEV-100 Series of One-Way Exhaust Vent Valves are used on above-ground oil storage tanks in Portablegas Station or used in oil storage depots. The vent valve typically consists of two parts: the aluminum body and anelectrophoretic coated cast iron cap. It will only work when the pressure in the tank increases rapidly, and the pressure inside the tank is more than 4 Kpa or another preset pressure standard.

It reduces oil evaporation losses to a certain extent. When necessary, it can automatically open and adjust to maintain a balanced pressure inside and outside the tank.|
When the vapor pressure in the tank exceeds the allowable pressure, oil vapor is released through the pressure valve.
